Patek Minute repeater
Dear all,
I am looking to buy a vintage Patek minute repeater, circa 1880 to 1900.
In this respect, I have come across several pieces and thus have a couple of guidance questions.
1. In one of the watches, the case number and movement number is the same; is this normal?
2. Neither the cuvette nor the case (inside) have any hallmarks nor patek signatures; rather, they only have the number. Is this normal?
I thank you in advance for your kind help.
Truly yours,
Calatrava

US Case

Yes, it was common for movements made by Patek to be put in cases made in the USA. I don't think that negatively impacts any value although a Patek movement in a Patek case would be particularly valuable because it's the same manufacturer.
