This has been debated a little, and I have heard a couple of versions:
1. Only one batch done and then production terminated. Lucky me, I have one!
2. Production ramped up now after initial QC issues, back ordered being filled, will be "re-launched" in 2014.
The AD that supplied mine was in the first camp - she doesn't expect any more in my country.
I guess only time will tell, and in the meantime it's a fantastic watch that I feel privileged to own.

Question for the many on this forum wearing or showing their 5235g regulator watches. Why does the reference not show up on Patek's website ? Is it's production over ?, or will it be re-introduced at Basel 2014 ? Has any owners had any issues or problems ...

5235g is a strange situation.
My AD is flying me and my collector buddy out to Geneva to tour the factory and museum in two months. Hope I will be lucky enough to see pre-Basel and the 175th anniversary editions being manufactured. But regarding the 5235 I hope to gain more knowledge....

If they do change the dial this would support the earlier intell that the dial was what caused a lot of the delays.
