first a starting point: if you bought it new, from AD or elsewhere, however you sell it is generally going to be a loss, just the nature of the beast.
you'll get more $$ selling to another collector, but it may take a while, you'll get less $$ from a dealer, but get it whenever you want. The most "value" would probably come trading into a dealer for a new watch, they'll usually give you much more credit towards a new watch (since they still get to keep your $$$) then actual cash for a watch...

I have bought and sold 2 Pateks on eBay and did considerably better that what the local AD or other high end watch dealers offered. It's imperative you know what you're doing on eBay, and it helps to have a lot of positive feedback. There's really too muc...
you might find the collectors market
the best way to go. Generally if your watch is desirable and priced well it should sell quickly.
