I have just bought 35/1.4 FLE. I also found NOS Elmar-M 50/2.8 in chrome and got it coded. From the same Leica dealer I found a new R 80-200/4 with full Leica guarantee. Now I am just waiting for the R to M adapter. The new 240 is a different ball game th...

from people I have spoken with that your Summicron-M 35/2 is an amazing lens. Small, fast and sharp. Shooting film like you do is a much more challenging thing than digital. However, even in digital I like to keep the photos RAW. Best, Kari

Nice set and great choice of lens, i would only add 35 SUMMILUX ASPH. Its the best 35 lens ever ( even without Ken Rockwell opinion ). I like my M9 a lot - it has the classic Leica frame and no video. Just pure foto tool. My set is 35 summilux and 50 summ...  

I would love to take everything else except the Russian passport... To be honest, I have the 35 mm already. Best, Kari

The photos made will be priceless and ... For the next generation indeed ... A 35 lux would complete the lens selection, IMO.

35 Lux is already in the camera bag. My logic was that if I go somewhere with a full set, I am using 28 + 50 + 90 mm. If taking just the camera with one lens, the lens is 35 mm Lux. Best, Kari

Kari; one accessory (fairly cheap) that I would strongly recommend is called Thumbs up; which basically fits in the hot shoe and gives a very sturdy and secure place for your thumb to sit. I have found it to be extremely useful and makes for a very secure...

it is almost a must accessory, even when I was very sceptic in the beginning. In general I prefer it as simple/pure as possible, but it is just too good :-)

and quite honestly I have never used EVF for any of my digital Leicas; in the film days, I did use accessory viewfinder for lenses wider than 28 mm

and it turns the new Leica M to a dSLC & RF. When the new R to M adapter comes to the shops in a couple of weeks, it is possible to use i.e. Leica R macro & tele lenses. Best, Kari
