New Nautilus Clasp
Picked up a 5990/1A yesterday and was pleasantly surprised to find it being fitted with a new clasp looking like that which was introduced with the 5740/1G (and previously also on ladies models). I knew that 5980/1R and 5990/1R had these but 5990/1A still...
Excellent, congrats on seizing a superb Nautilus reference with the nice extra perk of this new clasp! ;-)
Frankly I can't find confirmation in any of the material that I have for this year's models, but I wouldn't be surprised if all Nautilus clasps be eventually updated, as the new watches enter production ;-) Cheers.
No, 5711/1A-014 and 5711/1R still have the old clasp.
BTW, the ladies models clasp is different, it has a micro adjustment option. 5990/1A has been fitted with the new clasp for quite a while. Best, V. ...
