My favorite Patek Vintage is the Ref# 2438-1 Does anybody have alot of knowledge on it?
Certainly it is great that the 2438-1 was made with a screw-on back, unlike the 1518 or the 2499. I know it is water resistant, manual wind, part of 179 examples along with the 2497-1 which I hear is much more common than the 2438-1. Made between 1952-1963, ect. What about the metals, Yellow gold mostly and Pink Gold (4), what about white gold and platinum? Anymore facts about the 2438-1?
