This watch is actually very rare. You likely see way more 5712G than 3738J at any given AD. (I know its discontinued now). Enjoy your great piece!

I have thought of purchasing one a few times but have never seen one IRL I think I would need to see one on my wrist first before acquiring one- the size worries me Julian
Desertimer's and my Ellipse have clearly classic, traditional sizes.
The current Ellipse is quite big, nur with a black dial it will look not vast on the wrist. Missed a chance to try the rose gold black dialed one on and to see.
The size is quite well
The latest edition is quite big, but the one of desertimer's Ellipse and my 3738 is still a classic size. The Ellipse was one of the very few sizes that kept a classic look during the "magnification" of watches to 40 mm.
Having an Ellipse is very classy. Perhaps in the future i will add to my collection.
