According to my observation:
Lemania base in 5970s is better finished than the one in the early 3970s.
Lemania base in late 5070 is on par with in 5970. (finish quality 5070P=5970P)
240 in 5712 is better finished than in 5110/3940/5026.
324 in 5167 is better finished than in 315 in 5035/5036, etc.
When talking about finishing quality, I'm referring especially to the bevelling which requires a significant level of handwork. The better finished edges shows absolutely no traces by machine finishing in the earlier manufacturing stage (e.g. 5070 & 5970) and fewer traces by earlier machine finishing stage (e.g. 240 & 324).

Geneva Seal makes the movement more unique and desirable, as the current ones only have PP's own seal that will be available perpetually. Even the Nautilus with the Geneva Seal are relatively special than the current versions.
