Is this a new cycle of watch trends?

Thanks for the photos and observations.
The quality of the decorative arts is at the forefront for this model.
I wonder if this is the next cycle of trends in haute horlogerie? A few of the top brands have been showcasing (sic) the case work and dial work recently with rare arts of engraving, enamel, gem-setting viz. Patek Philipe, Piaget, Chopard, Cartier.
Of course, it has always been like that in history: the best watch movements were found in the best decorated cases viz. Berthoud, A.L. Breguet, etc.
Maybe, the next big thing is a revival of the decorative arts because machines still can't do it..........?

I like your thought! :-) In fact I see quite a few "look a like" or "wannabe" watches with engraving, enamel ... and too many brands offer "cheaper" cases, hands, clasps ... these days. Yes, even brands with lots of credibility. As longs as their are cust...
