I have only very tiny experiences....
.... with repeaters. BUT one thing I do hear people say is that all repeaters are different..... literally. Even the same reference in a patek range, say take 2 different 3739, both would sound different..... its just complicated to regulate and adjust.
But yes very subjectively.......
