I am rather strange!
I like to keep my watches in as mint condition as possible. I do not believe in battle scars that tell a story. And the sticker on the lid is actually the original Patek sticker. I was thinking about it and it is probably due to my extremist attitude - I bought a Samsung LED 3D TV in 2010 which at that time was quite something and I still have the stickers on the TV and I actually use that daily!! Similarly after having my car serviced, I seldom remove the plastic that the dealer has covered my seat with nor do I remove the paper protecting the carpet! 
this one is a really special piece
