Patek Philippe

I admit...

Considering that there is only one response to your post, I'll venture in.  I must admit that I have a 5030R, with applied Breguet numerals dial.  It is one of the few PP I've kept.  I must disclose that after having nightmare experiences with PP (including with this watch which cost me a great of time and disgust for them to replace the case when they totally ruined the original -a few months old- after a visit to Stern NY for adjustment the rate) I hate PP.

I've kept the 5030R because I love the shape of the case.  I almost buy a 5020 except for my previous experiences with PP.  I find the case exceptionally beautiful.  However, the back of the watch is flat, almost perfectly flat, therefore, depending upon your wrist, it might not sit properly (tends to move to the sides.)  Also, it has a snap back (no screws), with a small lip for opening it.  The movement is the so so 315.  Thankfully, I have a watchmaker in NY that is exceptionally gifted and he takes care of these watches.

It is a beautiful looking watch, a sight to behold.  It runs ok.  Center seconds, date.  I'd trade it for a Cartier Tortue Monopusante, though.  Of course, just my opinion (and first hand experience.)
