Don’t worry about the size of the 96. It is an excellent watch from a time when men’s watches were smaller than they are today. Who knows? In 20 years, smaller watches may well be back in vogue. You can’t go wrong with a quality, classic Patek Philippe watch. Enjoy it and wear it in good health.

I’m contemplating purchasing a vintage Ref 96 and am concerned the 33mm case will be too small on my 7” wrist. Do any Ref 96 owners on here have a roughly 7” or larger wrist and wouldn’t mind sharing a photo or two of the watch on your wrist? Thoughts? Ch...
Not 33 mm, but 31 mm. Elegance is an attitude. don't worry too much about the size, you will get used to it.

A Ref. 96 is such a cool watch
and such a famous icon too, that I would not mind wearing that on my 18cm wrist. I am looking forward to seeing some pics of owners. George
