hi everybody - is it possible to have a "simple" calatrava cross crown on this watch instead of the original double P? the watch has just returned from service (not mine) thank you.

I think it was the earlier 2551's that had the Double P Crowns. all the 2552's had it though Roni

Could it be that it was damaged and replaced in a service as they didn't have the pp crown any more?

I think Julian is right on the watches that had the double PP Crowns. If the watch went in to a service with the double PP crown it should return with it Roni

usually don't return original parts to owners. The owner should have told PP before the service that 'Please do not replace the crown, do not touch the dial or the case etc.'. I'm sorry... John

They say they do not have any stock of PP crown.. This is their policy. This occurs for not only PP crown but also vintage unmarked crown. John
