The 983 is one of the last pocket watches out there and quite probably the most beautiful.
It is still in production so if there's a manual Patek Philippe should be able to send one to you.
You should register your watch with them and ask them for such manual (if it exists).
Please share some pics of your beauty! Please.....
I've always wondered if it was possible to see the calibre through a sapphire back or if you could open the back to the calibre?

Solid Back
I am afraid it has a solid back and unlike 5970, it does not come with a crystal back. I shall try to post some pictures but my photo skill is very limited. I have challenged the AD several times but they confirmed with Geneva that a dedicated manual does...
