You have a good memory! I did once place an order for the 7234R as the 37.5mm diameter suits my wrist pretty well. But I am so pleased that I had cancelled the order as it has allowed me the opportunity to place one for the 7234A Singapore Edition. I have a fetish for steel (or perhaps I am just trying to save some money!) but my order will be dependent on whether Patek South East Asia decide I am worthy of owning one. All will be revealed in the next few weeks. Meanwhile, I am sure your partner will be happy to share the 7234R with you - that might be her way of saying thank you for this exquisite gift!

This watch is 4N rose gold vs men’s 5N so it’s a little less red...
So your eyes are correct but YG is back, and my recent purchases has been yellow gold so I’m fine. I think it matches good with the brownish/olive dial. 37.5mm is a nice size plus the protruding push buttons makes up for it.
