I owned the G and sold it.
Too big and bold for my taste. The blue dial of the G is kind of dead. So if I had to choose between the two, I would go for the R with brown dial. Best, V.

I wear my WG Pilot Travel Time as a daily when traveling. Going through airports, out at sports events, meetings, nights out. Subtle and only those in the know recognize it as a special watch. The dial is a rough blue surface, really nice I would not call...
