In spite of its limited size for today's standards, I love the 3440 Calatrava for its pearl minute track, the legendary PP crown, and the great 27-460 caliber that beats inside.

It is slightly too big, but very slightly. I’m wondering whether I want to have it cut. I’ll probably get fatter as I get older…lol

These classic vintage pieces will rise in value slowly and consistently. I suspect a lot of other current hyped pieces are a flash in the pan. But ultimately, I collect what I love.
