Are any special tools needed to cut/adjust rubber strap on 5167a? DIY or AD?

I was more concerned about detaching and re-attaching clasp to the strap. On some watches, these would be locked and require either heating or a special tool. Is that not the case with the patek?

I did it myself - and I'm not terribly handy. Look at the back of the clasp and you will see a springbar sitting in the notch of the band. You can take a jeweler's screwdriver (I used my Xacto knife) and gently pull the tip of the spring bar down to remov...
