Yes your dial has most likely been washed of the original laquer and originally had a matte silvered finish commonly seen.  The result is that you are left with the enameled portion on the metal dial.  The dial needs to be relaquered at Patek and it will once again have the ddull matte finish that it originally came with.

the picture you provided, the markings and scales are enamel, and not printed.
