60 full winds
These watches should take 60 or so full winds and run for 60 to 65 hours, 60 winds is a lot so let the watch run fully down and turn it 60 winds at that point you should hit the hard detent and the watch can no longer be wound. These movements do not have a crown system which prevents over winding,( as the 5170 models do) so be careful. If the crown turns endlessly as you suggest it is not connected to the mainspring properly and winding the watch would be impossible as the crown if correctly working must hit that inevitable stop.
