5968A which is an easy one for me for a multitude of reasons...
1) 5968A is a more fun and more versatile watch.
2) Much prefer the pushers on 5968A and dislike the leftside pushers on 5990/1A.
3) I like thin Nautilus whereas 5990/1A is a thick monstrosity (in my eyes) with a convoluted case / pusher assortment.
4) Not a big fan of travel time watches as I find them overrated in terms of what they do for you (easy enough to do the math myself). A worldtimer is a different story, albeit only correct at times.
Price aside, you need to feel which one...
fits better on your wrist. 5968 is bigger in terms of diameter and 5990 is thicker. 5990 has another time zone and hence you should decide whether you want this complication or not. Both are good choices. Let us know what you decide and please remember to...
Without going into secondary market considerations, both are arguably terrific (though very different!) Patek sports/classy choices. My own preference is probably the 5968A, which might also make for a great summer watch with the orange strap ;-)

Used to own a 5980 and currently own a 5968
5968 all the way. I prefer the larger 42mm size. Simple as that. 5968 better.
