5712 date stuck :-(
Yesterday I got my beloved 5712 G from the safe after some months of conserving it.
Today I had to realize that the date didn´t switch :-(. Trying it manually by forwarding the hands, neither date nor moonphase switch. The moon just moves a little bit but jumps back. The date hand doesn´t move at all :-(.
Did anyone have this problem? I can´t explain, because it always worked properly before. Just from resting in the safe ?!?!?
I know that sending to Patek will last a long long time...

Hi, As your watch stayed for two months without functionning you may let it some time to "warm up"! Oils may have been slightly drying so it may need a few days to work normally. Please resettle it, try again and let us know. Cheers Dje

it needs to warm up so shove it in the micorwave or on the stove or if you have a fireplace then there. I have had many problems with my pateks and not just live with it... even if i ever buy a new one i will buy one with keeping in mind that will have to...
