5396 PG
My affinity would still be with the PG at least for the 5396.
Additionally, the industry is generally to be trending towards either Platinum or Steel for a "white" metal interpretation, or else YG/PG as the choice of gold. This is not only my personal subjective opinion but also that expressed by a watch magazine editor over dinner. In support of his conviction, he quoted 5070P and 5970J as the final and arguably most important iterations of two legendary PP watches.
But setting all aside others' opinions, just go with the one that moves your heart. After all, the only opinion that matters is only yours. Do post a photo after you have decided.
5396 PG or WG
I had spent last 6 month in analysing different PP models and finally i selected 5396. Now, after last Basel exibition, i have a new doubt: Pink or White Gold???? I consider white more discrete and i prefer understatement. on the other side most of jewell...
Neither one
I like rose gold but not on 5396, the blue hands, sector markings is a little off to me. The 5396 wg with blue hands blends better. But I like 5135 1st then 5146 for annual calender.
