Night time readability compared to what? If you have
been used to a Rolex sub or the like, I think you would find the 5036's lume to be weak. Going to bed would not be a problem unless you're a wild man but showering daily would require you to make sure the gaskets are changed on a regular basis. Personally...

i dont think the perpetual is any more delicate than the annual calendar. if you are doing such a strenuous and intense activity that a perpetual calendar's movement is damaged, I would be confident that the annual calendar's movement would be damaged too...
The 5036
makes for a great daily wearing watch, I think it fits all of your needs except the showering. All though I'm sure it will stand up to the water, I think the soap is the bad part. As for investing , you have to go much further up the food chain or get ext...
