Before the new models are out ...

i was just thinking, till this very moment, i wonder which patek model gets the most wrist time amongst all collectors around the world ? The most common model which i see on the wrist on any given day, seems to be Patek 5960P....follow very close by 5712...

The last one they bought LOL.. In my case anyway... The 5960p is......

a very undervalued watch by collectors in my view. It is what it is and my guess is that it will be a good one for the future especially if the rumors of retirement are true In any case I find it a great daily wearer as do many here... Regards Miles.

Fully agree on the 5960P

Out of my small Patek collection, the 3971J is visually the most stunning and the 5960P is IMHO the most comfortable to wear. Regards Rene

here's my daily beater

First time i've seen a wristshot of one! Absolute stunner, yet to even take a glimpse of one in flesh. Anyway, do you think its possible to upload a video clip of the minute repeater being activated? I'm sure heaps of people would like to hear it too!!!

I wish I could

 By: Bruno.M1 : March 11th, 2010-10:06
but ofcourse this is NOT my watch I had the chance to try it for 2 hours. It belonged to one of my AD clients. I played with it and took some pictures but i don't have a video

Hey Bruno, the perfect watch for home repair ;-)

that thinks the sky moon is ugly. I love the celestial but the front of the sky moon is very boring to me. Of course this is just my opinion

Wow, Bruno. You really had me going there!

I was thinking of how great it must be to own such a handcrafted masterpiece such as that. At least you were able to play with it. How was the weight of that piece. Did it wear-fit well? Aloha, Bob

too thick

 By: Bruno.M1 : March 11th, 2010-13:49
but I think it needs to be that thick because of all the complications. But if I could afford it, I would not buy it, I would prefer all their chronographs (5070 - 5970 - 5004 - 5960 - 5980 - 5170)

So true.

There are a lot of other pieces that would warrant a purchase. Thanks for your response. Aloha, Bob

In answer to the question.................

The only Patek that I have............But that will do nicely. And I don't believe, that I have ever seen any other person, wearing a Patek during my travels.
