There are things I would like to know about the earliest 5060. I heard that the Rer.5060 was originally launched as part of the Nautilus series (with a leather strap).

Are you sure that the models in these photos are 5060 SJ (black dial) and SR (cream dial)? foto from Patrizzi

This book includes a photo of an SR with a normal buckle.

On the other hand, in Thy1r’s post on this site, we can see a photo of SJ wearing a D buckle.

Was ”SR" released with a D buckle? Or did the first edition come with two types of buckles for both SR/SJ? Please let me know if you know anything about this.

on the background of 5060 to understand more about its significance !👍 Will a collection of Aquanauts be your next focus to rival your Calatrava family ?😇

It is an excellent history of the Aquanaut including much discussion of its origin.

Anaroku, I came across a Patek brochure I have entitled New Models 1998 with accompanying US price list.

I think you will find the images interesting and informative. Although unrelated to your post, notice the retail price of 5070J was $27,500 USD! And Nautilus 3710/1A $8,950, Best, Patekova ...

My pleasure.
