Thanks to Patekova's kindness, I immediately read the article and gained a lot of knowledge. However, it was still unclear whether the first 5060SJ and SR came with two types of buckles (normal type and D). Does anyone know about this?

There are things I would like to know about the earliest 5060. I heard that the Rer.5060 was originally launched as part of the Nautilus series (with a leather strap).

It is an excellent history of the Aquanaut including much discussion of its origin.

Anaroku, I came across a Patek brochure I have entitled New Models 1998 with accompanying US price list.

I think you will find the images interesting and informative. Although unrelated to your post, notice the retail price of 5070J was $27,500 USD! And Nautilus 3710/1A $8,950, Best, Patekova ...

My pleasure.
