Maybe the star of the Patek Baselworld 2013 novelties. Its roots have already been discussed at length here, so enjoy, I would to like to give gracious thanks to Ed and Anna from the Patek salon in New Bond street for putting up with me, in taking all the...

That is my question too....

Good answer Joe :) Thanks Imran for the additional photos. :) Not my favourite, but certainly a nice looking addition to the Patek collection

Thanks for your pictures, Imran. One question.

How many turns do you have to give to the crown before the movement is fully wound? On the 5100, it has been said that you had to turn it around 100 times. Best, Nicolas

A lot...

I've seen somewhere around 134 ! Didier.

It is the same as the 10 day tour billon as everyone winds differently it is approx 20-30

Seconds to wind Hope this helps Imran Amanda Miranda Mandy

Are you sure ?

I have perhaps not very well understood Nico's question. If you go on Patek website, you click on the 5200G, and then on the "dossier de presse", it is written that the crown must have 134 rotations to be fully wound. I guess you're talking of something e...

Thanks for sharing Imran !

When I looked at the title of your post, I thought it was the blue dialed 5200. A little bit disappointed . But your pics are beautiful. if you happen to meet a blue 5200, don't hesitate to shoot and shoot again and posting all the pictures ;-) Didier

Many thanks for the pix Imran

I also look forward to trying one asap so as to make my own opinion about the size on my wrist. I am in love with the design of the 5200 (blue dial) but have read so much about its size that I fear that I could be disappointed when I see it in real. On th...

I've decided I really like this piece,

 By: Mostel : May 19th, 2013-17:40
despite my initial criticisms... It really oozes Patek DNA, with a little Rolex..... but overall, screams Patek, and it's both very casual and very dressy at the same time. the fact that the movement is brand new really speaks to the fact that Patek cares...

Thanks for the closeups... BUT

...I'm still trying to decide if I like the 'faux' bridges. What do you think? Guess, I wish they were proper, separated bridges.

If I had to make a suggestion then yes I would agree but…

For the degree of complication and the price point I think I would live it with it Best Imran

+1!...

Although my final decision is not yet taken, I think I can almost say I shall live with it and not I would! Indeed I really fell in love with the 5200 blue dial and only if it is obvious that its size does not fit on my wrist I shall have to change my min...

Revenge

Hello Mike, I know what would be the revenge... Something dealing with cities of the world, platinum,... I wish you that the 5200 fits your wrist ! Regards, Henri

You wake up as soon as this 5200 G is on stage ;-) Relax, there is only the white dial in this post. it is better for your heart ! best my friend, Didier. P.S. : I also could easily live with this "3 bridges", without any metaphysical problems ;-)
