still cannot find the case number though, (my eyesight must be failing me),
or must the casing be disassembled before the case number can be viewed?
could you guide me...

In any case am going to get a magnifying glass once the shops open.

Hi all, I just bought a Patek 5980/1A (finally!) and am wondering how do i locate the movement & case number of the watch; On the certificate, it states Mouvement: 556xxxx/438xxxx What do the above mean? Kindly awaiting your help. Thank you, Rob

1st part is the movement ref...

U can read it engraved on the movement. 2nd part is the case number.
