The color of the dial is very different from the renderings. It's very deep almost black in most indoor lighting conditions. Very nicely done!

Anyway, thanks a lot for sharing those pictures and giving us a feedback about how the dial color looks like in the real. This looks like a fantastic version of the 5230G. Enjoy it well! Best, Mark

Awesome!

This model didn't get much press time in the show.

Pretty dial especially the subtle NYC skyline

Patek did it nice again!

Growing interest on this LE patek world time. May I know if the Manhattan skyline dial is made of enamel?

It was not mentioned clearly from the online info. But from the macro photo, seems that there is a layer of enamel on top of the underlying metal dial. Thank you. Henry

Hi Henry, I saw this piece at the 2017 New York exhibition and to me, the dial is ...

NOT an enamel one like the 5131 cloisonnรฉ. If I remember correctly, the NYC skyline is an โ€œembossedโ€ dial. However, the top layer could be transparent enamel to cover the embossing. Regardless of the technique, this piece is beautiful in the metal. ๐Ÿ‘ ...

Good question Henry ๏ผ Personally I only know of..

2 people that have this piece vs quite a few with 5131s. Perhaps 300 is a relative small production ?

It's a significant and interesting piece, but frankly I have the feeling is not nearly as loved as it was when introduced back in 2017, perhaps also for the tough competition with many other WT LEs...

It's obviously still going above retail, but its value seems to have decreased quite a bit -- hence if you're interested, it might be a good time to buy. In fact, if you hurry up, it's lot 95 at this morning's Phillips auction in NY... ;-) Cheers.

So was it you?๐Ÿ˜

I bought this one in 2017 and it is beautiful. It was limited to 300 pieces and the dial is referred to as โ€œArt Deco, dark blueโ€. One reason it may not be as well know is it was only for the USA market so limited visibility for the rest of the world. I al...
