Ref. 5975P-001

Made for the 175th anniversary of Patek Phillipe in 2014, this multi-scale chronograph features a telemeter for judging distance, a pulsometer for judging a patient’s heart rate and a tachymeter for judging speed. Such multi-scale timepieces are characteristic of the early to mid 20th century when precise electronic measuring devices were not available.

One hundred examples of this reference were made in platinum and the dial features a black lacquer finish. The case is 40mm in diameter and does not feature a transparent caseback. It is powered by the automatic winding CH 28-520. I especially like the double stepped lugs which have a strong Art Deco aesthetic.

Cool - not often I use that word when it comes to Patek.
