Ref 3418 Calatrava
Hi, I am interested in general comments on how the watch compares to the other vintage Patek ss calatravas in terms of size, dial legibility, dressiness or casual sport. I also understand this model has been referred to as a "convertible" due to its capability to wear with a strap, in addition to the mesh bracelet. I have to ask how the watch looks with a strap, and if it is difficult to interchange between bracelet and strap. I have confirmed this model was introduced in 1958, and am just also curious when it was discontinued. It wold also be interesting to know how popular this model was. Lastly, how does this model compare to the Ref 3419, that seems to look identical? Sorry for all the inquiries, but I have not been able to find specific information on this model on Google, or some of the other forum sites.

Hi, i've never seen this piece myself but here is what I think. At 34mm it is a medium sized Calatrava, but somewhat among the large ones in historical pieces. 34mm is still wearable IMO, specially for a vintage piece. The watch is fitted with calibre 12-...
