Agree with George, it's very unlikely Patek will accept to turn a 5712G into a 5712/1G...they don't even allow a 5167A to become 5167/1A, even though this latter is a model in the catalog...
It won't hurt asking however, especially if you have a good relationship with your AD and/or Patek itself, it's not impossible that they will (exceptionally) customize a bracelet for you. Else, like George suggests, a good jeweler can do the job. Cheers

I asked, through my AD, for another color of composite strap - other than the standard dark brown - for my 5980R.... and the answer from PP was NO. Hahahahahaha. Cheers!
Yep, even with straps they might get picky. I easily changed straps on two basic models (a 5119R to light blue and a 5124G to flashy red) for which Patek provided many options to the AD, so they sent us the new straps quickly.
But a 5980R carries a type of strap that's not easily interchangeable, and the model is probably rare enough that even strap choices are limited...That's how you should view it
Short answer is no
there is no white gold bracelet option for the 5712. When you buy a Nautilus on a leather strap, it stays on a leather strap. Same w Nautilus metal bracelets, they cannot change to leather.
