The shirt looks purple, Miles. More daring than white, I'll admit - but not quite as bold as you could go! Nevertheless, the watch is outstanding. I think I like it better than the platinum. If you had to pick one, do you know which way you would go? Stev... 

Really very difficult question...... But if it was for sheer wrist sex appeal and nothing else it would have to be my 5970 Rg...... However I would take some parting with my 5970p as it is a really very special watch ...... Here is an interesting shot...W...  

Rose is more elegant, probably rarer and, with 5004R, the best Patek watch ! That's it.

AD ........And I guess it's availability for only one year??? Having said that Patek could have released the same amount in just one year as other colours over a few years???? I guess only the 2 Mr Stern's know that one. M.

I really think that the R is the rarest (ok, 1 year only for the P, but it was quite easy to have one)...like the 5004, more P than R, for sure.

Honestly, same old same old is a good thing. Many of my friends ask me, "how are you doing?" and when I say "same old same old" they tell me that is a good thing. Beautiful watches. Hope to see the good ole' 5970R more often. P.S. Nice shirt. This message...

Your 5970R is so so nice ! The perfect duo is 5970R for the day and relax evenings...and the 5004R for formal dinners, weddings etc... Congratulations !

At least you get friendly and appreciative responses here compared to the crap you get from the mods at TZ.MS has MS of the mouth.You know what I am referring to .Cheers.

Was in an AD (in Dubai) with both the platinum and yellow gold watches in the factory-sealed cardboard packing boxes, both very nice, but the pink gold would still be the one I'd opt for... MW
