This watch definitely has a lot of character. I was once told that "Gondolo" refers to a South American dealer of Patek, not any reference to Venice, etc.

I too love this reference and the guilloche dial is breathtaking. Collectors tend to be partial to round case shapes leaving the other shapes amazing bargains by comparison. I salute you for buying what you love and not what the market favours!
