Sometimes to store a mini-collection. All four were fully serviced by Patek in October. The service time was around two months and I also got new bespoke straps to all of the watches. There has been a lot of discussion about the service and service times ...

Just noticed that they also changed all the folding clasps to new ones and I got also a good bunch of spare straps in many colours. Even when I had just one or two Patek, I had nothing bad to say about the service times. I believe that often the delays ar... 

They changed all your deployant clasps??!! Did they charge you for it?! In a way, I hope they did but if they did not, I bow to you respectfully and in awe!

But it has happened to me before and Patek changed a worn down clasp. It's a fact that regular clients are treated very very well. But no free samples - unfortunately. Best, Kari

For quite a few fellow purists here, the 5110 is a very well born reference and is appealing in all its versions, even if we all have our favorite. I'm not this kind of collector but this would be my first choice if I wanted to make a complete one. Nice g...

I have too many full rolls and probably will get just one empty more which I will start filling up slowly. Now I'm getting 2-3 Grand Complications and then I start to be ready with Patek. You never know; I might jump to Hublot next. Best, Kari

If I would add the missing 3 x 5070, the bill would be simply too big. There are too many nice and new (to me) watches and serious collecting is not really my cup of tea. Best, Kari

I\'m just amazed that you had all serviced at the same time. The pain of waiting for two months would be too much for me to bear...

The coming year will be much easier. Just two Patek are on my list, both Grand Complications. Hopefully Basel will bring nothing too exciting. Best, Kari

Even the current price will motivate the off-shore producers as well as shale oil producers to think about production. I do not believe that OPEC's production cuts will help and it's not likely that Russia will respect the agreed production cuts. I expect...

The 5110 is certainly a reference that one might easily justify owning the set. As you have said, each has its own special appeal. I own the 5110p, and cannot have enough of it. Enjoy them. Look forward to your future observations. Best, Mike

thank you for sharing, can i hear your opinion on the 5110G? How versatilenis this piece for you? And does it compare with the 5110P? Been looking for the good price 5110P but only end up finding the G, thinking if i should look harder or consider the G v... 

The G version is better to read and it is more understated. But still, I owned the P for some 7 years even before considerig G. All four are great watches but in some ways P is Primus Inter Pares. Best Kari

thank you for the response. Will look into it more i have big wrists but i prefer the 5110 for the worldtime patek not sure why that is.
