I too agree: 3940 is perfect - don't mess with the classics...

I generally wear 37mm to 44mm watches. I find the 3940 to be perfectly proportioned. I have learned to appreciate size in the context of the watch itself, not in proportion to my own wrist. I think the 3940 is one of the classic PPs of all time.
