5968G in blue would be the current choice

yes, you are right
the green is not my taste but the blue is nice I have other watches who need a pin to set the date and those manufactures deliver plastic pins so my choice was easy being trained this way ;-)
the movement is nothing that really made me think about it
it is ok but not worth a detailed photo imho - here i do prefer my Villeret movements...
