This is an actual story of what happened to good friend of mine; and I am putting it out there as a lesson to those people (or so called collectors) who demand sealed watches and keep them that way without enjoying them for what they are! Here goes! a lit... 

I totally agree in my maybe amateur opinion no way I would buy a watch that expensive…

Please be aware that sometimes watches are "resealed." I have had occasion where I sold a watch (after wearing it), and later the same watch showed up in a dealer's inventory "factory sealed." Easy to confirm that it was the same watch by serial number. I...

I have seen a about a dozen resealed Pateks from well known after market dealers. I have not seen them from "trusted dealers" but well known and less trustworthy dealers. These watches were worn and resealed. It has been said for a long time, but its wort...

is a risky proposition. If you want to invest put your money somewhere else. If you want a kick ass watch buy it and wear it and enjoy the hell out of it and don't worry about reducing or affecting its value. Watches are made to be worn, not to be stored ...

...sticker whole it was very easy, next I cut open the sealed pack, I think I could re seal the watch with a heat sealer put it back in the box and replace the sticker no problem so I would recommend anyone buying a sealed patek to open it for a full insp...

someone would buy such an expensive PP from the grey market ! This is just too much money to part with - and this is valid for any patek as even least expensive is a little fortune - to let luck play some role on this. I would never buy a PP outside the A...
