In my opinion, the Perpetual Calendar is where it's at. The 3940 is my daily wearer, but I may change it out for the new 5320g ( the new watch may be easier for my old eyes to read) . The PC is such an elegant complication.

Keep the 3940.... each evolution of the PP gets more showy IMO

There is much to be said about the understated elegance of the 3940. After some thought, I have to agree with you. Maybe the 5320g is better in the hands of a younger person who will enjoy it "greater wrist presence" To tell the truth, I tried on the 5320... 

About your project, this is very personal and they are very different waches. I see from your second answer that you're still thinking about it. Take your time, this model will still be available in the near future so no problem. I think it might be a goo...
