Excellent info and review

Gordon…do you know if AP and team still produce the 5231 series of cloisonné dials?  There definitely has been a change in technique from my perspective and maybe Patek is using a new team for the 5231s?  Again, thank you for the excellent follow-ups.  Always great to be a more informed collector…these reports rarely is revealed by the manufacturers themselves.

The production of 5131G was 4 years in which Anita and her team participated. During this period, Patek changed the work on the bottom plate which provided different effects. Furthermore, Anita allowed her team of 4 to have flexibility to have their uniqu...

I believe you had also answered my query regarding if a mistake is made, when you underlined the uniqueness of each dial. I therefore assume that there cannot be a mistake as each one is subjective to the enameller? My favourite (if forced) would be the o...

I also like the non-chrome (right one) slightly more, due to the more vivid colour. However, the chrome one has a kind of grow that’s very attractive too. As you said, each 5131G is unique, hence there will be variations among the non-chrome and chrome on...

I thought production was much longer that 4 years. I seem to remember ordering it in 2008 and having my order moved to the R in 2015 - 7 years 🤷‍♂️

Hi Russell, you are likely to be correct about when 5131G was available in the market !

Anita and her team likely completed the required number of dials in a shorter period of time. Possible ?
