There definitely has been a change in technique from my perspective and maybe Patek is using a new team for the 5231s? Again, thank you for the excellent follow-ups. I thought production was much longer that 4 years. I seem to remember ordering it in 2008 and having my order moved to the R in 2015 - 7 years 🤷♂️
