I think an industry wide change of how WR is labeled
Would be very, very nice. The current system is rather misleading.
While I have the same feeling that 30m should be enough… if the watch could TRULY withstand the pressure when a watch is submerged below 30m to prevent water ingress; we should be fine for washing hands and rain.
However the humidity and raised temperature of a shower mixed with soap altering surface tension of the water… yeah that is a game changer with regards to “water resistance”…. agreed I am not showering with my watches; especially those designated for 30m....
