Kari, I am sorry, but I beg to differ: if a watch is guaranteed to 30 metres underwater, it can certainly withstand a shower! According to the Patel official site ...we recommend a regular service every five years (three years for non-waterproof models) ...

Please revert to the same page you mentioned and check i.e. "Importance of Maintenance". Several watchmakers have reminded me that the water resistance has to be checked once per year if the watch gets into closer touch with water. Best, Kari

Aquanaut is perfect with a rubber strap, while I personally think it is more situable for a dress watch such as the 5130 to have the original alligator strap. Have a great summer time :-)
