Patek Philippe

Hello, This is my wife's Patek Philippe 24. I bought this for her as an "upgrade" it her Solid Gold Rolex President 69178. Whilst it may not have been my choice - it retails for $15,000- for a steel quartz watch with diamonds. It has made her very happy! ...  

I'll buy a nice watch for my wife for her birthday and it will be a white Patek. I never considered 24 because I think that 90% of the price is coming from the text on the dial. Historically Patek made beautiful ladies watches with mechanical movements. N... 

... and mine would only consider it whith a mechanical movement. Whew! :-)

Mine is also of the idea that the movement must be mechanical. Furthermore, she would like to have an exhibition back and a finely finished movement. She loves i.e. her Reine de Naples but is the opinion that the rotor spoils the view to the movement. I h...

I have to agree; $15,000+ for a quartz watch?! - and this seems to apply to several of the Patek watches offered to women not only the 24 unfortunately...

then it's worth it... especially if the "other" woman's envy started to show. :-) Aloha, Bob
