One of the few pieces I have sold with regrets...
Fortunately, there are other pieces to lift my spirits!

The Goal is Soul

You sold your FPJ YG dial Tourbillon! I am a little surprise as I have been reading so many of your posts about this watch. I am now intrigue what watch did you get as the replacement. It must be something really great. Please share with us.
Too bad they are all discontinued. Congrats to those who have them. Definitely the look that defined early Journe IMHO
The moon and stars are done in red gold that matches the color of the case. I'm just not a good enough photographer to catch that subtle detail!
One of the finest aspects of this watch is the way the colors work together. The blued steel hands and the deep blue background of the phase display star field work beautifully with all the red gold.
Interestingly, the rotor on my watch (which has the original brass movement) appears to be a yellower color of gold. I'm not saying it isn't red gold, but it appears to be yellower than the case. With the guilloche finishing, it looks redder when viewed at an oblique angle and yellower when looked at straight on. I think it works, but if you're buying an Octa Lune of this vintage, its something you should have a look at.
