Yes it does. I’m thinking of working with a good costum strap maker to get the details perfect.

Only problem is requires me travel. I’ve done some nice ones with Jean Rousseau in Paris. For now I may fiddle around with this one and then d a better one at a later stage. I’m quite keen on the idea,
and I think I'd like to give it a shot as well. I had a strap done by Vladimir Petrov recently, and, while he does take some time, I'm really quite satisfied. Going to him for the Vagabondage as well. And you're right, it is a complex strap at the lug ends. It would be perfect to let the strapmaker see it.
Same size. But they need to have the pull tabs. The is no room for a tool Bremen the lugs and the strap. It means I need to have a hole in the strap for the pull tabs.
That looks a little jarring at first, we are not conditioned to seeing this.

But looking again I do like what it does to the watch. The colours yes, but also the texture is an interesting contrast (as so different from what we are used to seeing).
I feel silly for saying this, but it never occurred to me to envision a leather strap on an Elegante.

I don’t know why that’s the case, since I like having various straps for all of my watches and often envision them with different options. But the ‘mock ups’ you have here show a really great look for the watch—I hope you get the pins you need soon and start experimenting!
