I like most of FPJ's MOP (and other natural material) dials. Yours is no exception -- really nice. And I prefer the 38mm size, too. Good call on not selling it!!

I'm curious -- since you've owned it for awhile -- has the calendar function on your watch always been reliable? Or did you ever experience any of the issues that mine has faced (skipping month, or retrograde date hanging up)?

I have owned the watch for abt 6 years now and have not had any issue at all, not once. It is not my daily wear (I actually do not have a daily wear watch, I rotate almost each day) but I have used it quite a lot, perhaps in my top 5 watches worn.
Were your issues fixed once for all or you keep having difficulties with its functioning?

I had some ongoing difficulties, described here, since I bought the Calendrier about 4.5 year ago. I haven't felt like wearing it too often since I got it back this last time, but it hasn't malfunctioned since then when I have worn it. I still love it, though!

Top design, top materials, top movement, perfect dimensions, very rarely seen.
Very hard to find something that's not at the maximum level here. I understand it is a productivity killer!

Not sure I've seen all variants, perhaps there are some rare handcrafts floating around, but of the ones I have seen this one is my favourite. Thanks!

And the ever changing mother of pearl dial gives you a 1000 looks in one watch, and the best is that all of them are just awesome!

Different aspects or "shines" depending on the angle and type of light (sun/artificial). Here on its silverish appearance. Thanks for chipping in!
