Sounds like it must have been a fun day.
Cars and watches, two of my favorite pastimes.

ovais1,
Thanks for the photo report.
When Piaget launched this Polo FortyFive Chronograph, I was a little sceptical. My two concerns were:
1) Can Piaget bridge between their tradition and modernity?
2) Is titanium a precious metal; as their mantra before was "Piaget watch will always be proposed in precious metal".
Of course, this was after they stopped the production of the 'precious steel' Upstream model.

I cannot answer question 2 but they tell me that it is an expensive material
Since the launch and with your photo report as well as others', I have to change my mind; Piaget can bridge between tradition and modernity. They did it before with the original Piaget Polo 30 years ago and also with the Upstream.
Who knows what PIAGET will bring in 2011 to bridge into the future.......?

MTF
the few Ferrari events I've been to usually you see people wearing lots of Rolex (Daytonas, Submariners, Day Dates), maybe a few Cartier on women, a few Girrard Perragaux Ferrari Chronographs, and possibly a Patek here or there. Your Polo 45 looks great with the Prancing Horses. I hope you and your Piaget enjoyed the event.
Best regards,
Dino
a fine wrist watch ticking on my wrist and a Ferrari engine. I haven't seen any UNs or APs at the events I've been to but always fun to see what watches people are wearing.
Thanks for the great photos. Here is one of the few watch and car photos I have. Its my VC at the wheel of a Ferrari 328GTS.
Enjoy your Piaget and your car.
Best regards,
Dino
