I have not seen one with an enamel dial yet. Beautiful, very very beautiful. Handwinder or automatic?
Piaget is so underrated. Is enamel your new theme?

I'll soon be posting more on the subject of enamel dials from Piaget.  The watch pictured in my original post houses automatic caliber 809P.

And is an enamel dial beeing offered for other caseforms, like the traditional Emperador or the Altiplano?

If yes, I will know that my next watch is probably going to be a Piaget (instead of an AP or JLC).

...but perhaps they were less obvious, as the enamel-work showcases techniques such as flinqué and miniature painting (see the orchid motif Altiplano on their site).

It's gorgeous!  As far as I know, the grand feu enamel dial that I showed you earlier is offered in either a rose gold or white gold cushion-shaped case.  I believe each version is a limited edition of 50 pieces.  I'll show you more enamel in my post a bit later.

Imagine you are watchmaker at Piaget and you have to do all that precision detail work, day in day out, year in year out.
Hats off to alle those nameless people who produce mostly perfect watches for us. For me this would be hard labour

it seems that we often see so many photos online or in watch magazines of the more complicated Piaget pieces, especially when it comes to the Emperador or Emperador Coussin, that its easy to overlook the time only models.  But its really quite lovely as a time only piece with an enamel dial.  I look forward to your next article.

Very elegant with the that enamel dial. Also love the fact that the Roman numerals are so nice and thin. Reminds me of the early Tank models of Cartier.

I agree!  Two hands, a grand feu enamel dial, and some elegant, slender Romans, and I'm yours!    This limited edition Emperador Coussin is one of my favorite Piagets.  Thanks for taking a look, and leaving a note!
